40 years of Lüsnerhof
A glimpse into the past....
It is 1982 when Franz receives a plot of land adjacent to the Zalnerhof from his father. After submitting seven project proposals, relocating the Gargitt farmstead, receiving help from his parents, and with the support of his siblings, the construction of the Lüsnerhof can begin. A few months later, at the tender age of 21, Franz opens the Lüsnerhof, the first hotel for private travelers in the valley. His sister Ehrentraud is a great help and takes care of the kitchen, while Franz proves his multitasking skills between office work, service, and guest care. When things got a little tight, the private living room had to serve as a dining room for additional guests, but that was no problem, says Franz. Sixteen-hour shifts without a day off were the norm, but they were used to hard work and were delighted to be getting ahead. And so the hotel continued to develop, right up to the present day.
The result is a unique hotel philosophy.
