Alpine eco-architecture meets design

Sustainable harmony between space and nature in South Tyrol

The Lüsnerhof combines contemporary, sustainable architecture with the natural beauty and power of the Dolomites. In building our eco-hotel, we chose ancient Dolomite stone from the Puez-Geisler Nature Park and local Swiss pine and larch wood from the surrounding Lüsner forests. These materials reflect the powerful elements of the earth, creating an authentic alpine atmosphere that promotes well-being and regenerative sleep.

The use of reclaimed wood and stone from the historic Gargitthof, where the Ragginer family’s natural healing dynasty worked with herbs and healing methods for generations, strengthens the connection between nature and hotel. The wall heating behind clay walls provides healthy radiant heat, ensuring a pleasant indoor climate, regulating humidity, and absorbing pollutants. High-quality materials like the noble Laaser marble emphasize the alpine ecological bio-architecture of the Lüsnerhof.

The history of Naturhotel Lüsnerhof

Authentic Nature Hotel in the Dolomites

Based on a common good balance, we focus solely on moderate and meaningful expansions. Every idea is meticulously planned to preserve the protected and natural atmosphere of the Lüsnerhof. Our mindful approach to the environment and resources today is also a vision for the next century – and for the future of our children and grandchildren.
