Sustainable Energy from Nature
The energy for our bio-hotel in South Tyrol comes directly from nature itself. Four photovoltaic systems with a total capacity of 240 kW supply the hotel with solar power. This energy is complemented by our own hydropower plant, which reliably delivers green electricity from the mountain stream in Lüsen. For the cozy warmth throughout the entire hotel, we have installed a highly efficient wood chip heating system, powered by wood from our own forests and the surrounding region.
This conscious approach to energy use conserves resources and preserves the authenticity of our natural environment – for guests who travel mindfully and for a future that remains open to generations to come.
Ecological Water Management
We harness the power of water, with part of our electricity coming from the Kaser and Lasankenbach-fed hydropower plant.
When designing the naturellness®Spa at our nature hotel in South Tyrol, we consciously decided to avoid oversized and energy-intensive swimming pools and steam saunas. The heat for our ritual sauna is provided 80% by a wood-fired stove, significantly reducing the CO2 footprint of our eco-conscious hotel and offering our guests a sustainable vacation experience in the Dolomites.
