Peaceful ski holiday in the Dolomites

Winter magic in Lüsen and on the Plose

A ski holiday in the Dolomites can also be spent on quieter terrain. Our nature hotel in South Tyrol offers two options: Beginners train on the slope of the Lüsnerhof, pro’s take the ski bus to the nearby Plose ski area. Perfectly prepared slopes, the unique backdrop of the Dolomites, the Puez Geisler Nature Park within reach, and no crowds like in other tourist strongholds of the Dolomites – this is what sets the Plose apart.

The Plose ski area

The Plose ski area is situated 15 kilometres away from Lüsen on the mountain of the same name above the city of Brixen in Valle Isarco/Eisacktal. The free ski bus takes you every day from Lüsen to the snow-safe Plose ski area.

The Plose ski area at a glance:

  • 40 sunny kilometres of slopes
  • 16 slopes (blue, red, and black)
  • 9 lifts
  • South Tyrol’s longest valley slope, the 9km-long “Trametsch”
  •  “RudiRun”, one of South Tyrol’s longest toboggan runs

Our hotel’s slope – learning to ski for young and old

Only a few steps from the Lüsnerhof, the hotel’s slope offers the best conditions for learning to ski – both for children and adults. Due to the low slope inclination it is the ideal training ground to make your first turns in the snow under the guidance of a ski instructor. In addition, an adventure park with a magic carpet delights children, tobogganists, and beginners.

This is where daddy taught me to ski. Cool!
